Sony Online Focusing on 2 MMO's Based off Planetside/Everquest
SOE (Sony Online Entertainment) closed their studios in Seattle, Denver, and Tucson. They canceled an MMO they were working on since 2007 called The Agency which I completely forgot about until hearing this news. I have never been a huge fan of SOE but I have always heard good things about Planetside and Everquest.
Hopefully all those that lost their jobs can find work soon.

ReplyDeleteI used to love planetside back in the day, then i got addicted to newer flashier things, hopefully this MMO will catch my attention when it comes out.
ReplyDeletemm bit skeptical about console based mmo's. i played WoW for a long time which really set the standard for me. i freeplay Lord of the rings online for a laugh but don't see myself getting hugely back into the mmo genre
